Bloom

With the days far too long
And with even colder nights
Time can pass by so meaningless.
With idle hands
That I have no use for
Purpose and reason
Have no definition anymore.
Syllables and verbs
Seem so far or of reach.
I try to stay focused
Saying, "God Is on my side".
He is just watering my garden
With the intention and outcome
Of a beautifully shaped flower.
With all this rain to cleanse me
And even with shadows way too dark
I'll keep my head bowed
And wait to bloom.

    This is a much better poem I feel. The title goes perfectly with the poem. I think here you are the flower and without care and love you cannot bloom. Though it may seem dark there is always light and you need that light to feel happiness. There is always a reason to life.Anyway I loved the ddetails in this poem. The lines tell a story that really sends a strong message. Well done
