A Balancing Act

by Smaccams   Feb 7, 2014

You are mistaken - for this delicate situation was not intended.
But you have every right to leave me out of your company.

If you wish,
I'll take a walk alone.

This is nothing eccentric to the hand-me-downs of life that I have received.
So do not fret if I seem detached.

Just realize that with your blind perception on my actions,
And with your fit of tears you have in your shell of the mind,
There is another who is affected too.
And mind you that they know the reality of things.

Do not make up stories in your imagination,
With facts gathered from a millennium of memories and green mistakes - all to prove one point.
I shall let you know that it's hard to keep balance when weights are unequal on either side.
The victim is only the acrobat, when those loads don't cooperate.
