Do You feel it Too?

I hear that freedom comes from within
Said by those who seem to be free,
While some appear to be trapped
Thank god that one of them is not me,

Although I`m not always happy
At least I`m not always sad,
Sharing the two feelings
Helps me appreciate all that I`ve had,

Through all the struggles I`ve lived
Into the smiles that followed each time,
Still just a goofy boy inside
Having faith to one day hear Loves chime,

So I guess the saying is true
Mostly shown in my silly grin,
While misery may like company
For me, happiness does come from within

    Another write with another good message for readers. I like the second stanza and yes what we go through and experience makes us who we are and appreciate what this life is about. Excellent!
