Dreary Parade

by Ridge   May 17, 2014

Exhausted, torn by anguish
Uninspired, looking up to a sorrowful moon
My depressed eyes gaze in silence
A spell from a venom tongue regenerates me
I walk through a dreary parade after midnight
Eclipse in the chaos
My visions are true, my mirror sells me a new shape
I witness the discord of shackles corrupted outside the city
Dreaming about infinity, visualizing uncensored endings
Are friendly and occasional
Let me ask the oracle if she knows the location of the green emerald eye girl
She swept my breath away
Shades of my somber days
I embrace the freshness
of a rejuvenated new day
Full of bright promises
