Remember Thy neighbour

I wish i could understand
and see all that i see
for i long to touch and feel
as well as know why,
all is changed
gone with the wind
as tho the past existed not

how is it possible?
that we eat and feel full
when another hungers,
we forget our neighbors
today all evil previles
and no voice is heard
injustice is done and no hand is stretched

leaders boast of peace
surpassing developments and
exceeding unions.
while humanity becomes more selfish
engrossed in oneself
may our ancestors raise
for their cause slowly perishes
perhaps God should send another teacher
for i desire a new dawn.
