Broken Dreams

by Art K. aka CritiqualDad   May 30, 2014

Up to that fateful day at noon
Her life was fine and full of joy
At night, she's staring at the moon
calling it, her little toy

But just as she walked home from school
He grabbed her from behind
That's when she became a tool
Screwing up her mind

He soiled her soul
So cruel and heartless
She lost her goal
What's left is darkness

Now, as she closes her eyes
All she sees - his groping
Soon, in this world full of lies
All she'll be is - soaking

Innocent thirteen
Body full of bumps
Who could've foreseen?
This tragedy as she jumps
