Love letter to p and q members :-)

Ok, so this isn't a poem, and it isn't about Thanksgiving day, but it's a letter to the poets of p and q and it is about giving thanks (after all, why do we have to give thanks on a designated date, we should say thank you at every opportunity).so here goes....to all the poets at p and q, this is a love letter to say "thank you"my story goes like this: I've always been an emotional, irrational and passionate girl, but due to circumstances of the heart,I lost all that,I became a canvas of grey emotions that once were as radiant as a kaleidoscope,I became too rational, overthinking every second of my life, but worst of all,I lost my passion.I lost the ability to cry whilst watching a cute romance, cower in fear at a thriller, become a part of whatever story I was reading,I lost the desire to run around and scream like a child when it rained and sing at the top of my lungs to the howling wind (seriously,I really used to do that :-P) all of this I lost and more, because someone broke my heart and stole my soul, but in reconnecting with that someone and bending what was broken, he left me the love-filled advice to life for myself, to do things because they make me happy not because I must, he told me I should go online and (in his words) "look up things that glow me" so I took his advice and looked up poetry clubs one day when I was feeling very down and dispassionate, and I tried several sites which all led nowhere, then on a Saturday about two weeks ago,I came across p and q and decided"why the hell not?) So I signed up and became a member,a member of the most awesome family I've ever known.now here's why I say thank you..:I say thank you, because there were so many people who welcomed me with wide open arms and made me feel like a true part of this family,I say thank you to those who take the time to read/comment/and vote on my poems, with the most amazing comments and advice in the most loving way.I say thank you now, to everyone on this site, whether you've read my poems or not, for being a part of this amazing world of poetry, thank you for entrusting the rest of us with your words, with the core of your beings, for that is what poetry really is (unleashing yourself to the world) but most of all, thank you for helping me regain my passion, my drive, my love of life, through your beautiful words and your inspirational comments to me and to each other, thank you to whoever created this site for creating a place of such beauty for poets to express themselves.I'm eternally indebted to you :-)
