Christmas Tenderly.

by Wisdom Kanyone   Dec 17, 2014

The scent of summer grasses
Mingling with the winter;
Tossing lilies into the snowy air,
Greying our boots
And awakening itchy memories.
The tall cassava stems have grown thin
While the Christmas tree stretches
It's neck to glide on the wings of eagles.
Firecrackers repaint the evening sky
With Red, Green and White lights,
And smiles crawl up the starry lines
On the faces of the elderly.
Atmosphere sweet and womanly;
Gather your cold breeze around my feet
And linger;
O beautiful Christmas-
spread out your clothes longer.

The sky has thickened-
Blue and grey lines run
roundabout it.
O beautiful christmas,
Tarry so sweet and fine.
Pluck the cherries swinging in the snow,
And polish my shoe laces with dust.
For I will gladly breathe your windy breeze
That blow so rarely,
And happily rob your dusty cream
For they feel like Spring.

O beautiful Christmas,
Tarry so sweet and fine.
And may all your dust and breeze
Tenderly be mine.

    Where good lies, men are blind to see. For quality Time, you've shed here; there's a future that awaits you!
    Keep inking and don't stop thinking. It gets better, should Truth, we learn.
