Twin spirits

by Wisdom Kanyone   Dec 17, 2012

With the eyes
they can't be seen,
yet they live everywhere
like the scent of sin.
They gallop through the sky
and wash the clouds off the sun's face.
Alas! It was they that weaved beauty
into the colours that seperates each race.

They fed the mountains
and made them grow tall
planted the rivers
so there could be water for all.
They washed off the oceans
and built this soil- these lands.
Yes it was they-
they and their crafty twin hands.

Look at them!
You can see them when you shut your eyes
and castrate your vision of the world's confusive dice.
They are here
with you
somewhere in your heart
where you buried them and forgot you did.

They are the rosy words
thundered between two people through a handshake.
The force that made you race after the child
that was ignorantly running towards an earthquake.
They are the hug,
the smile,
the light bulb in your eyes
when you see a friend that
has been gone for a while.

These twin spirits
they are what placed conscience in your heart,
and makes you wish you and that one person
would never be apart.
These twin spirits- gentle as dove.
They are two identical persons
or what makes two persons identical.
These twin spirits-
they are love.

And everything good they created
because God is love.
So be not an atheist and have hate.
These twin spirits
with eyes they can't be seen,
so let men see with their hearts
that these twin spirits
lives in you.

Thanks everlasting, I'm happy you enjoyed the piece...that 'Atheist' line was actually a message of my believe in God. And since we all know that God is love, in a world where their is no believe in God, there is bound to be hate and violence. So it's my own message about the risk of having a world filled with atheists- which gradually seems to be coming. THANKS SO MUCH.

I enjoyed this piece, except for this lines

So be not an atheist and have hate.

^^ it could imply that atheist have hate... Which is not always the case. Even a believer may have hate. An atheist may have love for life, for humans, for earth... Etc.. So in my opinion, it was a so so approach to convince people of the existence of god. I'm a believer by the way. And I did enjoy the word choice of this piece as well as the thought. My only nit pick was the above line.
