Glimpse of love

by Beautiful Tragedy   Feb 4, 2015

Your eyes on mine make me freeze,
As you make your way in the room,
God, you are so beautiful,
Your touch gentle, instead of cruel.
Your lips touch mine and heat engulfs us both,
As we continue on our way,
My neck, my lips, my collarbone,
You are gentle and loving,
Showing me the side of love I had yet to be shown.
You lean forward; Your breath in my ear
Sending a shiver down my spine,
You are everything I have always wanted,
And now you are finally mine.
Your fingers run along my arm gentle and sweet,
Making me want more than just your lips,
Your mouth comes back to mine,
And your hand finds my hip.
Unspoken words in the air,
Bond me to you without a sound,
step by step, and I have waited patiently,
And here we are, sitting on the ground.
"I love you" I whisper,
And I pull your lips back to mine,
Exploring new desires,
And you ask me if I'm fine.
But I am better than I have ever been,
In that little space with you,
As you show me what love really is,
Creating sparks with everything you do.
I bite your lip as a tease,
Knowing it will drive you up the wall,
And as things start to heat up a bit,
I understand that I wasn't lying; I really did fall.
But as I sit on that floor finally kissing you,
I start to understand what love is really about.
And it's not selfish or forceful.
It's gentle and caring,
and that's exactly the glimpse you gave me.
