Fading Time

by Tinkerbell   Jul 6, 2004

One after another,
the years fly by
and we are left,
pondering why.

Not too long ago,
we were all so young.
Now we watch the flow,
of each new day.

Minutes fading away,
so quickly without stopping.
Not even a moment to say
what's on our mind.

All contracts signed,
Our futures set.
No time to rewind.
But time continues to fly.

You are left here with a sign,
realizing you don't even gave a moment
to take a deep breath and wonder why,
or even to stop to look back.

Yesterday was the beginning,
with so many joys our heart was singing.
But tomorrow will be the end,
when God his hand will lend.
