Different Styles of Love

Sometimes I just feel
Like I don't know what love is
Until I get emotions
Like images of flowers.

I've never been the best
Or most romantically inclined
But my heart can rest
With a good conscience in my mind.

I know i'm rough at times
And not as gentle as you wanted
Especially with words
That are sharp and daunted.

Maybe we wont work out
And our styles of love can't be arranged
But I want to try this out
To see what love can change.

I want to be better
For your sake and mine
So I wrote this letter
Not just to unwind
But with the hope that you'll soon be fine.
