I think that was a good way to end the poem. There's a sadness felt as I read this piece which is wrapped with the last line. I like it.

Loving this form, might have to try it one day I get time to write. This write is not only creative, and done well given the rules, it is flawless and very moving. You have picked a topic that readers will be automatically in tune with and able to relate to well.

this line really stood out to me because it just seems so true about how time can pass us by just like that, and when we lose someone, life can feel somewhat pointless, like we have no dreams left to live for without this person in our lives.

It's usual the way we feel sad in love when stuffs doesn't go according to our will. But here, the words, feelings, grief and expressions are totally different and highly. That's the best part of this poem. This kind of writing can really wins hearts.

This line proofs that you must had been living with your love for a very long time. And all those time those two souls were one, filled with amazing graceful love. Due to that close adorable relationship the pain becomes worse after departure. So, it's true that past memories really effects tough on our soul.

The pain of past memories can keep on killing the heart for many years. It's quite complex to get rid of it.
