Boring Class

by Tinkerbell   Jul 6, 2004

The clock has stopped
and the time isn't changing.
Such a short minute,
takes hours to pass.

The teacher is talking,
pointlessly without end,
as my eyes slowly close
and drift into sleep.

She puts some notes up
for us to quickly copy.
But I'm too tied,
to tired to even lift my pen.

Does anyone actually find this lesson interesting?
or is everyone in dreamland like me.
This all doesn't even make sense,
so how can I even want to listen.

Oh! Did she just announce a test,
and give us yet another project?
How long does this have to go on?
How much longer in this class?

But maybe I should listen now,
before she catches me
and I get yet another detention,
detention for sleeping in class.
