Trembling Secrets

by Baby Rainbow   Jun 10, 2015

How could I have known
that you would never be back home again?

How can I let you go,
when all I hear at night
are these trembling secrets
that created a war between us?

Now, truth comes second,
and the lies are like whispering ice,
melting on me,
slowly,
drop by drop,
creating icicles in my freezing heart.

And how can I ever move on,
when we never found closure
about the trembling secrets
that tore two souls apart?
