Storm Drains:

by Scott Cole   Jun 16, 2015

I'm just a sad little tear
That's waiting my turn,
To rush down your cheeks
So I can crash and burn.

I live in your baby blues
I'm just a small teardrop,
I'll grow over the years
Until I'm near ready to pop.

I have my place in line
So one day it will be me,
That will block your vision
Where you can't hardly see.

Right now things are good
I'm now a happy little tear,
For you haven't seen from me
In well over a couple of years.

But I can feel all the pressure
That's starting to build within,
Could it be for a special lover
Or is it just a really good friend.

With a lover or a good friend
When it rains it sure does pour.
And at this very little moment
I'm sensing a very brutal storm.

Here comes all the water works
There is no stopping me now,
Pardon all of the commotion
Cause things are gonna get loud.

Though im just a sad little tear
I also can experience your pain,
And after seven more tears go
I'll flow through your Storm Drains.
