Life After Death:

by Scott Cole   Jun 18, 2015

I can't move my muscles
Or speak a single word,
My vision is getting blurred
And my speech isn't heard.

My body is shutting down
This life has taken its toll,
When I'm dead but not gone
Long live my mind and soul.

My breath has escaped me
My time on Earth is done,
So run and tell the news
And stir up awhole lotta buzz.

I want be coming back home
No you want see my presence,
A least not here on this Earth
But soon they will in Heaven.

For I'm a very Special Breed
I was washed in the blood,
When the Life of most is over
Then my life has just begun.

For I am the luckiest person
With a big smile on my face,
Cause this is the Life for me
This is that promised place.

Can't wait to check it out
And see faces I have seen,
Way back in another time zone
When they were still with me.

When my days on Earth end
And it's time to be with God,
Finally it's Home Sweet Home
Not some foreign land abroad.
