The Drunken Handling of Love

by Something   Jul 26, 2015

Eleven AM, hello world
Would you give us a little twirl

Last night, a mist of dodgey liquid and
drunken rambling to a girl whose love I'm handling like a irresponsible, unemployed unimportant twit. I said it.

Send her a text to apologise, she sees the text her heartbeat rise
-es Sorry darlin' i started rambling misunderstanding, irresponsible handling the love you accidentally gave, you were rather brave - foolish.

Again, I like the idea behind this poem - it has a strong theme, which I like in any form of art.

The theme of intoxication is very evident throughout, the idea of love is a little blurred, perhaps infatuation? Or a one night stand? Not bad though :)

The person irresponsibly handling the girls love, doesn't feel the same way. He's drunk so continues to pretend, only coming to sense the following morning.
