I Love You more than my pride...
I'm sorry for when fighting I sound snide.
Fault I never allow to fall on you..
Because I'm never truly mad with what you do.
What You say may often hurt me...
But Your occasional smile sets me free.
Your friendship is both the best & worst part of me...
The heartbreak I feel daily is worth it can't you see.
I'd rather just say sorry, with a heavy sigh..
I'm never going to be the one to say Goodbye.
Because I Love You more than my pride.

    I love this poem. the inner fight. to make a relationship with a person you love deeply, work. it can really be hard, but also worth it. because there's nothing better, than real love, and making real love work.

    The title of this poem made me smile and although I really don't like love poems it made me smile and so I just had to read it. The way our pride is something aweful but it's sweet that this person means more than anything that is stopping you from being with them! Hope this comment made your day.
