Oh The Roses:

by Scott Cole   Nov 3, 2015

Oh The Roses
With their petals of silk,
I love your decor
So don't you ever wilt.

Entangled and dipped
In such lingering aroma,
That puts my scent glands
In a constant coma.

Your razor sharp
Thorns of protection,
Keep your appearance
In a state of perfection.

How do you do it
You're always number one,
The prettiest flower
So you're never out-done.

With your many colors
To satisfy all eyes,
Just your sheer beauty
Makes girls wanna cry.

I must give it to you
You rank right up there,
With your unique style
It's kinda not fair.

Your first in my book
Your looks; your smell,
So easy to pick out
And so easy to tell.

So now as I stare at
And take in your presence,
Flower gardens are not
Without your essence.
