Out on a limb sawing away merrily

I am another kind of drum, beat me.
Floating about the back waters of this mind
Some weird, if not magical thoughts do habituate
If not dominate, what else to say?
Grand, majestic, or simply off the radar; that's me

Nostalgia to cutting edge, all on the same page
Told you so, grand majestic off the radar that's a promise

I turned a page just the other day
Clean slate so to speak
That has not worked out for me
Evolution on a tea break?

I want to be me!
That should be a walk in the park
Sad! Sad! reality it's not going down today
Searching 'doing it my way'
Frank my man; boasting fart from yester year
Are you blowing smoke up my aging arse?

Time is tight; turn another page, real quick like
Dilemma, doldrums on a role; up yet another cu de sack
Turn! Turn! Better be quick you droll from another era
Inspiration passion only! No clinging allowed
Change! Be Bold, it's me again, up against them odds

Hell man! there are still some moves left in me
Cutting edge? You bet: - stepping out of the woods
There are still trees to see
Turn that page it has to be
