Untitle - Hellon's Hand's Contest - Edited

by Everlasting   Dec 1, 2015

Within a privacy of a room, with curtains closed,
and a dim light, a wife politely asked her husband,
while he sat near the edge of the bed,

"Dear, please, cover your eyes with your hands"

In turn, the husband with his eyes covered,
jokingly replied:

"I can see you, not. I can see you, not."

While his legs shook repeatedly with impatience.

------

After a few minutes elapsed, the husband still
with his hands covering his face,
and still shaking his legs impatiently said:

"For real, my love, I cannot see you
for these ten fingers of mine have blind me so,
but I bet that through your eyes,
you can see me, right? You can see me, right?

At least, just say that you can see my hands..."

---

Still waiting and pondering the why his hands cover his face,
the husband while thinking aloud said:

"wait, but if you can see these hands of mine
that now have blind my eyes
Why have you not removed them from my face
so that I may see you clearly, love?

---

And within a moment of Eureka, the husband snapped his fingers
while excitedly said,

Oh! Is it that you would like
for us to play a game of peek a boo?!
or if you prefer, a game of hide and seek,
just tell me what, my love, that I must eager to play!"

--

The wife giggling and enjoying her husband's silliness,
replied:

"Oh since you insist so much my love,
I'll have to say that it is true.
I can clearly see you. I can even see
those ten fingers of yours that blinds me, not.

Though I am perplexed, my love.
I cannot believe that I heard you say.
That those ten fingers of yours have blind you so,
If I know, for sure, that they have, not.

--

The wife, walking in circles in one spot of the room,
while searching for a dress, patiently
awaits for her husband to reply.

And within seconds, the husband sarcastically surprises her:

"oh yes, you are right, my dear! I can see you...
for these ten fingers of mine when they touch your skin
become the eyes that see your body

and it is these fingers
that when entwined with yours,
your hand on mine, my hand on yours,
become the nose that smell when something bothers you

so indeed, you mostly right, my dear beloved,
I can see you. I can certainly see you!
but not right now,

for these ten fingers of mine are on my face

and not feeling you."

*door slams*.
