Heaven ever after

by Timothy   Dec 3, 2015

Don't cry for me, because it is my time,
My eyes are finally open, no longer am I blind;
The last exhale, lifting from the soil,
Transcendence, shucking the mortal coil.

Don't mourn for me, instead sing praise,
I am not underground, raise your gaze;
The chorus is magical, joyous all around,
How can there be sadness with that angelic sound?

Don't worry that you won't see me again,
As long as you fight the good battle against sin;
I'm here with dad and grandpa, every day full of laughter,
We are all waiting for you in Heaven ever after.
