The Reaper goes Riding

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 6, 2015

When the reaper goes for a ride
those who are not ready should hide
beneath the haunted pale moon light
to cleanse their immortal souls right
for tomorrow may be to late
to change evil, despair and hate
without a doubt accepting grace
to put you in your rightful place
so that there's no need of hiding
when the reaper goes a riding
