Christmases When You Were Mine

by JB Guancia Dormido   Dec 25, 2015

I stood under the mistletoe
It used to be the exact spot I stood by you,
We used to feel the chills
But now it's only me and it's colder than ever.
Last year we stayed awake too late,
Waited for Santa Clause,
But tonight I'm all alone,
And I'm waiting for you.
We used to watch the lights
Changing from red to green to blue
but I barely notice them now
that I'm without you.
There were Christmases when you were mine,
But tonight it's gonna be just Christmas alone.
