The Graudation of Nelson Mandela to Heaven from Earth - 2013

by stanley tommy   Jan 28, 2016

The day was bright,
the weather was right.
The Angels in Heaven prepared December 2013, day the fifth, For a great leader of immense worth.
A graduation elect from South Africa, Johannesburg West, Who, in all splendour, will be called to his rest.
A President, a Father to one and all, he was Africa's son.
A job well done, who to fit into his shoe, not to be found one.
Love, forgiveness, humility, incumbent, all in one.
One of great political stature, a South African son.
To be broken in spirit and left with no future,
On Robben Island, he was customised to emotional torture.
Released from prison by the President of South Africa, De Klerk,
People from all walks of live suspended all business and their daily work.
The people of South Africa, Madiba to see,
Madiba's motto, South Africans one people to be.
Lined the streets of Cape Town, with tears of joy did off the face come down.
Fifth December 2013, the day wore on and warm,
From a beautiful weather after experiencing a week of heavy storm.
The day became cold, strangely it seemed,
Not knowing from Madiba Magic we were being weaned.
The hours marched on and all around Madiba' s bed his family stood
Not fully aware that the guardian Angels from Heaven, his soul guided to the graduation they would.
The clock on the wall, twenty hours fifty minutes it showed.
With peace in his heart his soul left the body, after four scores and fifteen years,
Madiba left with no tears.
The Angels with rejoicing guided Madiba' s soul sublime,
To the graduation to Heaven from Earth, it was the perfect time.
South Africa and the Worldwide received the news with mixed emotions,
Beat their chest with dismay on the left hand side over the heart from all nations
When we, now with emotions and grief have paused awhile,
We would with great applaud scream,
Well done Madiba, Africa's best of any political team.
