The final slide (Alouette) (HM)

Swirling down the drain,
those dreams go again.
Into a porcelain hole
where the lot belongs;
the poems and songs:
Ejected, the poets soul.

The Alouette, created by Jan Turner, consists of
two or more stanzas of 6 lines each, with the following
set rules:

Meter: 5, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7
Rhyme Scheme: a, a, b, c, c, b

    Lovely little write and interesting form. I had a study of your rules and I think it seems like a possible candidate for me to attempt (not great with forms) but this one seems easier than some.

    The flow really is great, you have done well one that and the rhymes bounce off each other nicely too.

    I don't think I'm too far off the mark when I say I know where this one comes from and I understand your frustration completely. I'll leave that there.
    A great poem and very cleverly written - again, your knowledge of the forms is evident and also - and more importantly - you ability to execute them so well.
