It Is But Love:

by Scott Cole   Feb 5, 2016

It is but love
Which spins the Earth,
That gives it meaning
And all it's worth.

It is but love
That wakes the sun,
Another blessed day
We all are spun.

It is but love
That paints the heart,
A colorful soul
Or a work of art.

It is but love
Which good comes from,
A motherly touch
With a green thumb.

It is but love
That rights all wrongs,
To your wicked past
You wave so-long.

It is but love
That heals all wounds,
So open your heart
And make some room.

It is but love
That giveth a wife,
Now things are set
The rest of your life.

It is but love
That comes from above,
A regifted gift
If there ever was.

It is but love
That's forged in dirt,
A God given trait
We inheritate at birth.
