Rainbow Night:

by Scott Cole   Feb 12, 2016

Will the beams of moonlight
Ever see a rainbow,
Parade across the sky
Put on a show.

Will those seven little colors
She carries with her,
Will they tumble down
Or be a big blur.

Will all of the stars
Slide down towards Earth.
Mix with her colors
Just like fireworks.

Will bands of the rainbow
Ever live in the night,
Dance with the stars
And show off her lights.

Will she ever come out
Past her bedtime,
To fly through the sky
And hang for a night.

The beams of the moon
Will forever stay,
Far from the rainbow
And that rainy day.

The bands of the rainbow
Will forever shine bright,
Far from the moonbeams
That's made for a night.
