Rose Petals Drenched In Honey:

by Scott Cole   Feb 12, 2016

You are as grand
As her petals of silk,
The prize of the rose
Except you never wilt.

Your distinct aroma
The one i desire,
That of my nose
I'm not willing to share.

Your budding beauty
My center of attention,
That single thing
That draws my affection.

But you are as sweet
As that sweet honeydew,
The purest kind
And sticky as glue.

Your distinct taste
The one i desire,
That of my tongue
My tastebuds admire.

Your pretty as a rose
And well worth the money,
Your sweeter than nector
Thats made into honey.

You are my flower
That's golden sunny,
You are my rose petals
Drenched in but honey.
