I hoped Only

by Yatubeera Resty   Mar 8, 2016

It's only I, be blamed
Once I told myself I could do it
Took on the amour of faith to face the future
Even without Courage's consent

I remember clearly what determination
My eyes beheld, I was sure
Standing tall with my head in the clouds I matched on
Then days become months, soon, it was years
And all i had was a struggle still
Only now do i recall my mother's words
"A Worrier's courage is not in the songs they sing, but in the spear one holds"
What did my hands hold all this time? Dreams or action!
