You Are My Credit Card [ Attempt Sonnet ]

by Everlasting   Mar 17, 2016

When I'm alone I think of you, my love.
You are my memory, my credit card;
the reason why I owe so much to life.
And though - at times, I am carefree yet hard,
You know, I will still pay my bills on time
because the interest that love charges,
it's high and I cannot afford a fine.
Nor you nor I deserve a single charge.
So will you ever be a debit card?
because I wish to spend our love and fast
without an interest nor secured cards
but with a lot of love in our bank account.

Just know a credit, or debit, or not
I will love you for who you are...my love.
