Ghost of you

Fell in love with the ghost of you

I fell in love with the ghost of you,
The ghost of who you were.
I fell in love with with the memory,
Of what you were before.
I fell in love with the ghost of you,
A little to late I know.
I fell in love with the memory,
With the smile you used to show.
I fell in love with the ghost of you,
The way we used to laugh.
I fell in love with the memory,
Of all we used to have.
I'm haunted by the ghost of you,
With every waking moment.
I'm haunted by the memory,
Of all I took for granted.
I'm haunted by the ghost of you,
And all I threw away.
I'm haunted by my wasted life,
More with each passing day.
I'm haunted by the ghost of you,
With every dream at night.
I'm haunted by the memory,
Of all our little fights.
I fell in love with the ghost of you,
And all your visions in the days.
I fell in love with the memory,
Of your beautiful face.
I'm still in love with the ghost of you,
And I will always be.
And I hope that someday,
Your ghost will again love me.

    Nate, I really like this.

The message I got from this is that we don't now what we have until it's gone and by the looks of it that's what happened here unfortunately. Love is the best thing if it works.

    Lovely flow, Em
