Calamity

Calamity

Caution to whomsoever looks into her eyes...

You won't notice til after the deed is done.
By then you'll be unable to run.

It starts off with a smile
That could melt your shoes to the floor,
With the biggest grin you ever wore,
Shining brighter than any ore.

.... As of now, her deed is not yet done.
And you still have the time to run.

But you don't, of course
And why attempt trying?
When casual caresses give a feeling of flying.
And gentle grazes get her softly sighing.

...You need to stop trying...

You are caught in her deed, but it's still not done.
...You are almost out of time to run.

You finally truly noticed her eyes.
Now there is nothing more I can do.
Entwined by their translucent hue.
She has taken your heart too.
