Jenkins Creek Footpath Bridge

by David W Palmer   Apr 29, 2016

Keep your feet, I dare you! Once cross this span
The truth be told, you may never return.
Unsettling the conviction -- home, hearth,
Comfort, rest, staid, tried and true, settling --
May no longer be enough soul shelter,
Once wanderlust has fixed focus forever
Surprising delights o'er the horizon -
To taste, touch, engage, understand, and grow!
From seven-billion teachers, see afresh
The complexities of life, perspectives
Divergent, question generating, new!
Create your bucket list, then drain it dry!
Step across my boards, let magic reach you
For you have never pass'd this way before!
