God's Favorite Colors:

by Scott Cole   May 11, 2016

All those great colors
God can supply,
All those rainbows
That catch your eye.

Poor little white
Palest of all,
Only shows her face
Way late in the Fall.

Poor little black
The darkest of all,
The most favorite
For marking up walls.

Poor little brown
Who covers our grounds,
Right at our feet
Should we look down.

Poor little blue
You paint the sky,
Exact same color
As my crying eyes.

Poor little green
As green as grass,
Cream of the crops
Till she's outta gas.

Poor little yellow
The color sunshine,
All dripping in gold
But for a short time.

Poor little orange
Who sits on the moon,
That special little color
That rides off on a broom.

Then there is red
The color off blood,
That stands forever
In the name of the Son.

All the lttle colors
Every single one,
Are all really special
In all that they done.

Good little rainbow
Holding up those glows,
All of those colors
That only God chose.

God's favorite colors
All holding hands,
Spreading their joys
Whenever they land.
