Yeah, I started it.

If only they knew the last of the string was already cut.
Each day that passes by; going over the edge gets a little easier.
Broken is an understatement clung by the optimistic.
Each flaw can now be showcased for everyone to sneer.

With their furrowed brows; it's almost like they can see the expiration as well.
Forget about having a definition; in the end leaves us limited.
Leave me uncategorized and unlabeled, benefiting society one person at a time.
I'll whisper in the crowd, just to see if anyone's paying attention.

All that's left are genuine apologies from the deepest waters.
Soon, there won't be any time for your goodbyes.
I just won't wield the concept of forever alone.
No, I prefer being this quick spark that ignites nothing.

My life is the price, even though all debt has been paid.
Begrudgingly walking towards my bed six feet under.
There is no coming back, I leave my dust to the abyss.
Goodbye, hello, and how do you do?

This poem is incredibly powerful with some genuinely moving lines. My favourite two happen to come one after the other; great writing.

    All the very best,
