Useless

by LoneRider   Jul 30, 2016

I wake up this morning,
tired after a sleepless night.
Under the Shower, I want to sing,
before I have my daily fight.

At work I am just one of many,
in my circle of friends too.
I am only good enough if they want something from me
It's not funny, but it's true.

They play with my feelings,
but I'm still loyal and hungry for Love,
but for them it's only fun and they use every innings,
they don't know, I'm a lonesome dove.

The Day will come
and they will cry,
because I'm gone,
without saying Good Bye.

We can all feel useless sometimes. This piece is true and honest.
