Judgement Day

by Karrington   Aug 10, 2016

We want to have the faith
To have things the way we want them to be
Except that when things fail to prosper
Can turn into a state of misery
It all comes flooding back
When my thoughts begin to cover
Broken memories live in my head
Playing over and over
I can't make them stop
Living with daily ponder
Carrying A bleeding soul
Of heartbreak and wonder
Running away won't subside it
Sitting in it only feels worse
I was blessed to show the smile
While inside living with a curse
Visions are unclear
Energy is out of range
Trying to survive
Ways need to change
Mindsets have altered
From things we couldn't keep
Laying awake
As other minds are still asleep
We choose to know nothing
Other than what is being shown
Living in comfort
Unaware of the unknown
Silence will be broken
Darkness will be brought to light
The sleeping will awake
The blind brought to sight
When the wind breaks
And the air becomes clear
From the evil to the wicked
The malicious and sincere
The chosen will rise
The destruction will cease
With blue skies and forgiveness
To clarity and peace
