You Don't Kiss me Goodnight

Can I ask you what went wrong?
Why your love suddenly, was gone?
I thought we would get better than before
But you've got bitter and cold.

I ask myself every night,
Why you never held me tight?
Is there someone new?
Or your love just got through?

I can't imagine why I love you this much?
When you went other places, you don't keep in touch.
But still, I keep my eyes on you,
Even that you don't love me too.

*
When you sleep, you turn your back on me,
When you sleep, you hug your pillow, not me.
When you sleep, do you dream of me?
Or you just dream of somebody?

*
You don't kiss me goodnight,
It hurts me more and more.
You don't kiss me goodnight
It just got my heart tore

    Hello Gel,

    This is so sad. I can't imagine anyone choosing a pillow over you. Lucky pillow that's what I say! Lol

    My favourite verse is this one:

    You don't kiss me goodnight,
    It hurts me more and more.
    You don't kiss me goodnight
    It just got my heart tore
    ^
    Feeling unloved/ wanted is the ultimate rejection.

    I realise this poem was written 6 years ago, and now you are happy. It just shows you that love works out in the end.

    Gel, this is absolutely stunning and it all too relatable for me as I believe many others would be able to relate to it.
    Love (I guess) can be so beautiful yet destroying too.
