Why so Sad

Why so sad?
Because she lost everything she had.
From her clothes to her place to stay
No one person to ask, is everything okay.
She was there in the middle of nowhere
So she sent out a little prayer
Asking, Why did this happen to me of all people?
I thought all people was supposed to be equal.
Free from the judgement of color, skin, and gender.
I am the public's defender, I'm your #1 contender.
