Chasing the shadows of my demons
The night never seems to end. The stars seem to disappear, the moon light is no longer shining down on me.
Seeing nothing but black and white
Kicking rocks along the way. Feeling as empty as ever. Hearing silent screams in my head, panic in my chest.
Walking this lonely road to nowhere
Not sure what's ahead of me. Running from myself and what's in my head.
Leaving my real self behind me, becoming an empty shell of who I used to be. Kicking these rocks off the edge of the earth, into the abyss of darkness.
My demons feeding off my fears. I will follow this lonely road until I find out exactly where I'm going.
