Friendship

by DarkLight   Nov 25, 2016

I feel like a traveler learning his way into the jungle
Where the city building has turned into nature.
And the noisy machines replaced with the rustling of leave.
Still I suffocate from my feelings of loneliness
Where the thought of friends is a memory
From another century
How I wish we could go back in time
make noises like these chirping birds deep into this forest I call life.
Sad not, broken yes.
Sure my universe is dark,
and the sun shines no more
The glittering of stars is just a reminder of how beautiful life use to be.
So, I stand tall
Projecting my voice to you who will hear me.
I miss you my moonlight....

You did a good job conveying the desolate and dead world in my mind. It made me think of I am legend with Will Smith.
