Lessons learned

Everything is like a blur
so scared and confused all at once.
What happened? Did I miss something?

I have never been through anything
like this before. I felt so scared
I wanted to cry but I couldn't.

You looked into my eyes and I
suddenly felt okay and that everything
was going to be alright.
I hear I love you underneath your breath
as I can see the fear in your eyes.

Suddenly I am away and no longer
in that place that was so cold.
But I miss you and I can't stop crying.

Now you are here with me and everything
feels safe again. I now can breath
and smile again.
I can now sleep and eat.

Everything is okay because you made it
that way. We have been through so
much and this only made us
stronger.

The world tried to break us but it
couldn't because our love is so strong
it stopped it.

I love you more than anything and I
would do anything for you. I
will stay by your side through
everything. I love you.

My love we can stay strong and
we can break through this. Only
a few years and we will be free
again and nothing will stop us.

Take my hand and lets pull through
this together because I know we
can make it.
