Another life

by zvikov   Feb 23, 2017

Here I am lost once again
In this sea, one vague memory
Life might be a dream who can say?
None can tell mans whole story
Sails fly high, yet there's no way
Back to where all this began.

Where are the footprints I left?
These sands I have trodden before.
A few steps of pain and happiness
Hold everything I have lived for.

There is a lovely dream, stuck in my past
Since I've awoken, I can't remember
Deja vu's come and flash me back
To another place, maybe another life.

A nostalgic piece, with a certain softness to read. Beautiful and sad.
