Ocean

I wandered the beach an hour or two
Like many who came before
And each step helped me lose
My problems along the shore

Watching listening disconnecting
From the stress and the pain
The oceans tide came and washed
All my troubles away

The sun glistened across the sand
Birds flew in salted air
And wandered still did I
Till I found a spot and sat there

Time betrayed by purple skies
I didn't want to leave
But somehow those waters
Seemed to strengthened all of me

Someday I will return to oceans blue
And wander across the sand
Renewed spirits with each second spent
Gained from golden body tanned
