Real Love - Gone

Where has real love gone?
that strong feeling of affection
where fantasies become reality
and palpitations erupt within.
Can we ever find someone
who would steal our hearts
and cause droplets of nerves
as our hearts tear and tingle;
or is real love now relegated
only to the screens of our TVs,
and the only experiences we have
are those we watch in movies?
Our hearts yearn for what's real,
the kind that fear cannot withstand,
where letting go is not an option
and hope and trust are hallmarks.
