You cannot hide.

It comes to the poor,
It stalks the rich,
It comes to the infirm,
It forgets not the healthy,
It comes to the foolish,
It cant be outwitted by the smart.

You can not hide atop a mound,
Or deep within a mine,
You cannot hide in the sky,
Or pressured below the waves,
You can not hide in passing time,
Or tucked into the past.

But fear not the impending doom,
For its essence makes life golden,
For if never comes a bitter end,
Never will it be cherished,
Life is great but death is final,
Time is precious,
Do not waste it.
