Angel with broken wings and a dagger in my back with a kiss

by Eric   Dec 6, 2017

Like a shattered bottle glistening
Beach sand I repaired what was missing
New rules I envoke my true inner self
Still missing chapters the book was collecting dust on the shelf.

You haunt me your the pain that never dies
Dragons breath to sip on the taste of all your lies
From this burnt out ash you feed off my veins
I dream, I die, I wake, You lie can you torch my soul to flames
I try to catch my shadow and bury me away
You leave me with scars I look away all day
Gone are my eyes from resting on broken angel wings
But I can never forget things are never what it seems
It’s what can happen when your afraid of the sights in your dreams
Like a boomerang that never came back stuck in a tree
Either you replace it or struggle and climb without ease
Do I rise out the ash or should I never go back?
Loves so dangerous it can crush kingdoms flat
