Predator VS Prey

by liVing lIes   Feb 1, 2018

The "Kawwing" sound
The sound of intent
Is one of a vulture.
The animal who
Intends to prey.
Prey upon the scraps of carcasses
Of those who have abandoned
Their victims.
The real predator
Is the one who preys
Upon the weak.
The ones who cannot
Do for themselves
What nature intended.

I am not prey.
I am the predator
And you are the
Prey.
I have formed you
This way.
You had malicious
Intent for me to
Be preyed upon.
In turn,
I have made you
My victim.

Wade all you want,
I am here,
And have been patiently waiting
for the tides to turn.
I have been waiting
For opportunity.
I have been expecting you
To swoop in.

I am here,
And I am ready
For you to realize
That I have
Stolen everything
From you.

You can wade
As you may.
I am here
And I am prepared.

Try and take
All that you want.
You have lost.
Process this.

You are the vulture.
I am the predator.
This is fact.
Process this.
This is life.

I have laid the
"WELCOME" mat.
Wipe your boots
And continue on.
You're welcome.
Welcome to adulthood.
Welcome to the match of
Your life.
